Comprehensive mohel training course for Jewish medical professionals and religious leaders.

Join our flexible, individualized program and be trained to become a mohel/mohelet. This training will guide you to provide an educational, meaningful, and inspiring bris for young families and your community.

To bring boys into the Covenant of Abraham, as Jews have done for generations, is a true joy for mohelim/mohalot

To become a mohel, one must receive religious and surgical training.

The religious training is designed so you will understand brit milah in the Orthodox, Conservative, and Reform movements and to view the mitzvah from a cultural and historical perspective.

The surgical training will be conducted in our Philadelphia area clinic, and customized to fit within your clinical schedule. The coursework will be determined by your current proficiency in infant circumcision as well as other factors.
