I completed my training with Rabbi Gary Atkins in February 2013. I am the first and only Conservative Mohel in Australia. Rabbi Gary’s education program was thorough and wide-ranging, covering historical, religious, cultural and controversial subjects around Brit Milah. He also provided resources to deal with the difficult situations that inevitably arise in this area. The face-to-face teaching gave me the confidence, skill and understanding to conduct a meaningful Brit Ceremony.
I believe there is no comparable training program in the world and I returned to Australia with the highest standards of knowledge, skills and attitude to start my new career as a Mohel.
